Once an interview is complete, Interviewa processes the transcript with OpenAI GPT-4o using structured outputs. The first stage extracts each question and pairs it with the candidate’s corresponding answer.

Scoring that means something

Each answer is evaluated across four signals — relevance, clarity, detail, and specificity — producing a transparent, per-question score rather than a single opaque number.

The pipeline finishes by generating recommendations, moving each interview from pending to in_progress to completed to analysed — with a full audit trail at every step.
